Firestone Complete Auto Care

I got my brakes fixed at a Firestone in New Jersey last week…. Not only did they mess them up, but they also caused more damage. Staff was so friendly at Kingston! Mechanics were quick and the manager is very professional. Thank you so much!

I recently went to the Firestone 🛞 in Kingston to have a TPMS sensor that I replaced simply refreshed and programmed. It was a walk-in, but it took over an hour and they still charge me $23 for a five minute fix that almost every place does for free. I figure since I go there for my alignments that they would have no problem flashing this for me, unfortunately I was wrong and they still charged me for the service. Disappointed I am.

Took 4 hours with an appointment just to get a state emission and safety inspection. Failed the safety for the brakes and then tried to offer to change them for $600 (rear brakes only.) I then had then brakes changed elsewhere for $160. Brought the car back a week later, they claimed then that my wheel doesn’t turn properly and now suddenly an exhaust issue, so failed the safety again for problems they did not mention in the first 4 hour inspection. Took it to another shop the same day who passed the safety inspection because neither of those problems existed. I would absolutely never recommend going to this location or dealing with the people who work here. Especially not for the outrageous prices they attempt to charge, and trying to find problems that did not exist to keep charging outrageous prices.

Scheduled Inspection for June 1st to be informed the tech wouldn’t be in “until Thursday”. Received confirmation and arrived at the store to find out they had made my appointment for the day previous and would have to reschedule me a 2nd time.

Robert, J.D. and the guys are fantastic to me and my entire family. We have been working with firestone for years because of the integrity the shop guys. Fair prices, reasonable solutions, and exceptional work at all times. Thanks Robert and J.D!
